 PROMOTION |
C/2d Lt. Scott Giles was promoted to C/1st
Lieutenant on 2/20/08 for his continued success in
CAP. It takes a lot time and effort for a cadet to
make it to where he is, and he is expected to
continue to excel through the cadet program in the
coming years.

 WESTPOINT ACCEPTANCE |
C/1Lt. Ngoc-Yen Tran was informed that she was
accepted to Westpoint Academy on 2/27/08. This is a
very high honor that very few ever achieve. Once
she graduates after 4 years, she will be
commissioned as a 2d Lieutenant in the U.S. Army.
She will be attending Westpoint starting in the
summer, along with our Deputy Cadet Commander,
C/Lt. Col. Brett Jack.

on 1/23/08.

C/AB Cesena were promoted to the grade of C/Airman
on 1/23/08.

 Ferman Award Given to C/Maj. Bushem |
On November 11, 2007, C/Maj. Cami Bushem received
the Florence Ferman Award at the California Wing
banquet. This award was presented to her by the
Wing and National Commanders. She received this
award, which comes with a $5,000.00 scholarship,
for her outstanding service in CAP and her academic
achievements in school. This is a very high honor
that very few cadets will ever even be nominated
for, let alone receive.
